It is a football club owned by Hollywood stars whose goal is to reach the Premier League and net millions of pounds.

And now a Norfolk club is hoping to emulate Wrexham by launching its own behind-the-scenes documentary.

Called Welcome to Wroxham, the four-part series will detail life at the club, which is currently third bottom of the Isthmian North League.

The fly-on-the-wall documentary will mirror the Disney programme Welcome to Wrexham, which shows how Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have taken on the Welsh club.

It is said Welcome to Wroxham will shine a light on the heroes that make the Norfolk club "great", from Barry, the tireless 78-year-old groundsman, to superfan Phillip.

"There's an amazing community here in Wroxham - the club has a rich history, having been founded in 1892.

"The series will shine a light on the heroes that make up this great club, from Barry our tireless 78-year-old groundsman, to superfan Phillip."

The four-part series will be released on YouTube and TikTok in mid-October as part of a new sponsorship deal with Riot Labs, which describes itself as an e-liquid and smoking cessation company.

The Yachtsman's current goalkeeper is Olly Sutton, son of Chris Sutton who scored 83 goals for Norwich City in 255 games.

Tom Huckerby also plays for Wroxham and his father Darren Huckerby was also a Canaries legend.
