The junior section at Mundesley Golf Club celebrated a successful season at the end-of-year presentations.

The highlight of the year was the A team winning the County Bass Trophy after a close final against King’s Lynn. The B team also reached the semi-final, and five of the juniors are now playing in U14 and U16 county teams and getting regular county training.

Junior section organiser Ros Fretwell said: “There is much to celebrate this year as the juniors at Mundesley continue to thrive and grow in number, coached by new club pro Charlie Bright.”

She also praised the continued generosity and support of parents, club members, sponsors and the junior committee members without which the junior section would not be as active or successful as it now is.
