A major high-street brand has included three Norfolk spots on a list of places where it would consider opening new stores.
Marks & Spencer has scoured locations across the country to find areas that would be suitable for future shop openings.
Its criteria require a more than two-acre site that could fit a 21,500-square-foot store in a "highly prominent and visible location".
The firm is focusing its search on areas slightly outside cities and towns with access to a major road and space for a car park with at least 150 spots. The potential locations in Norfolk are Holt, Cringleford and north Norfolk.
A spokesman for M&S said: “As part of our store rotation programme, we are always looking at potential new sites to make sure M&S has the right stores, in the right place, with the right space.”
