An appeal has been launched to find out what happened to a pensioner found unconscious in a village street.

The man in his 70s was found by a worried local in Holt Road in Langham, north Norfolk, at around 8pm yesterday (November 28).

It is not known how long the man was in the road but he was then taken to the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital to get treatment for serious injuries.

He has since been transferred to Addenbrookes Hospital where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
