A Norfolk couple has won a prestigious award for their dog-friendly holiday let on the Norfolk coast.
Tim and Tricia Thirst, who recently opened The Farmhouse in East Ruston near Happisburgh, were announced as winners at the Dog Friendly Awards 2024.
The couple attended the finals at The Kennel Club in London and fought off stiff competition from across the UK.
The Farmhouse, which has a secure garden and welcomes pets throughout the property, was nominated in the single property category for Most Dog Friendly Cottage.
The couple's holiday let has become popular with guests, both from the UK and overseas, thanks to its proximity to north Norfolk's dog-friendly beaches and visitor attractions.
The property also offers plenty of country walks, making it an ideal retreat for families wishing to holiday with their dogs.
The award was presented by actress Debbie Arnold, an ambassador of the Retired Police Transport Dogs Charity.
Tim Thirst expressed his gratitude to all those who voted for them.
