Two restaurants in Norfolk have been named as having some of the country's best roast dinners in the prestigious Good Food Guide.
The guide, founded in 1951, has become a reputable source of recommendations for British restaurants, pubs, hotels, and cafes.
Now the publication has released a list of the 50 best roast dinners across the country and The Gunton Arms in Thorpe Market and Socius in Burnham Market were among those crowned for their Sunday specialties.
The Gunton Arms was launched in 2011 by art dealer Ivor Braka on a 1,000-acre deer park near Cromer and has since been awarded a Bib Gourmand by the Michelin Guide for its friendliness and good food.
The guide said: "With its mighty Elk Room fire, where cuts of beef and pork are dramatically cooked to order, this art-filled pub-restaurant really comes into its own for Sunday lunch.

"There are whole roasted chickens carved at the table and served with excellent goose-fat potatoes, vegetables from the walled garden, garlicky bread sauce and stuffing balls – plus a spectacular gravy."
Socius, described as a "cool, urbane and confident" restaurant, also made the list having previously been awarded a Michelin Plate by the Michelin Guide.
The guide said: "Socius makes the perfect Norfolk coast setting for a ‘joyous’ family-style Sunday lunch.
"The aged beef and roast chicken are the main options, joined perhaps by a sharing special of roast pork belly with pork and bacon terrine and pulled pork.
"Sides ‘with a Socius twist’ deserve a special mention, such as creamed parsnips topped with crispy onions."
