A shop that lets customers create and build their own bears is opening in time for Christmas.

Teddy Bears, owned by Lyn Cox, sells teddies in a similar way to Build-A-Bear Workshop and has been attending events across Norfolk since August.

Mrs Cox has "finally taken the plunge” and is opening her own store in Stalham on December 1.

"The name is special to me too, my grandson who is two years old is named Edward and everyone calls him Teddy so that is where it came from."

"I'm hoping it will bring business to Stalham as it is a lovely high street and it is also something I would like to keep doing,” she added.

"I also want to keep it more affordable as I don't want to charge silly prices.

"I met a woman at an event once that paid £100 for two bears and I thought to myself why did you do that for?"

The opening of Teddy Bears at 120/122 High Street will coincide with the town’s Yuletide Christmas Market and the shop is offering 10pc discounts on all bears during its first day.
