Changes could be made to a well-photographed alley with a sea view that could see part of it painted pink.
Western House on New Street in Cromer, a bed and breakfast that forms part of an alleyway often photographed by tourists, could be repainted pink after plans were lodged to make significant alternations to the property.

A planning document says: "It is proposed to repaint Western House in pink to match the building below, adjacent to the Hotel de Paris.
"The colour responds to the existing distinctive character of the conservation area to enhance the cohesiveness of the context, and reflects the ‘sea-side’ character for those drawn to Cromer for fun and an uplifting experience."

The application also proposes several changes to the inside of the building that would create an additional three bedrooms for guests.
