Thieves have targeted sheds and outbuildings across north Norfolk in a spree of break-ins.

Three burglaries took place overnight last Wednesday with two homes in Briston and one in Corpusty being affected.

Lead and power tools were stolen from an outbuilding in The Street after a key-safe was broken into.

The second raid saw a lawn mower, horse saddle, axe and wildlife stolen from a business in Norwich Road, Briston.

Two more sheds were also broken into at a property in West End although nothing was taken.

Police are now urging the public to take extra precautions suggesting homeowners mark their property, install CCTV and use good quality locks.

Officers are also appealing to anyone with information or who may have witnessed any of the break-ins.

Anybody with information should contact Norfolk Constabulary on 101 or via email at toby.gosden@norfolk.police.uk.
