Plans to set up a new wellbeing centre in Norfolk are gathering pace after the project received a business grant from a district council.

Two barns at Grove Farm, Swanton Abbott, near Aylsham, are being transformed into treatment rooms to be used by wellbeing practitioners.

Owner Stuart Morton had come up with an idea to do something different from the usual holiday let conversion.

The plans for the hub were approved by North Norfolk District Council earlier this year.

And now Mr Morton has been boosted by news of the granting of a North Norfolk Rural Business and Communities grant supported by North Norfolk District Council and delivered in partnership with Norfolk County Council.

The new facility will consist of three treatment rooms for use by practitioners in the wellbeing sector.

Mr Morton aims to open the hub in February.

Mr Morton said: "Its fantastic news, I wasn't sure it would happen.

"But I put together a good business plan and they said it would be a positive thing for the area."
