Plans have been lodged to transform a tiny former café into a new holiday let.

The application, lodged with Broadland District Council, proposes transforming the former Radley's café at 82b Lower Street in Salhouse into holiday accommodation.

The shop had previously gained attention on social media after a previous application was denied by the council, with neighbours bewildered by the refusal and feeling sympathetic that the owner could do nothing with the property.

Planning officials had said the plans were "unacceptable" as the site was still viable for potential business use.

A planning document states that the property had also previously been placed on the market but was deemed was "too small or to much work required" by potential buyers.
