Holt is set for a night of Americana music with a "girl power" twist.

The Venue at Holt Community Centre is hosting a triple bill of live performances on Saturday, December 7.

Leading the lineup is the American band Savannah Gardner & The Recovering Good Girls.

Originally from the United States and now based in London, Savannah has been gaining a following in the capital, selling out venues after releasing her debut album Recovering Good Girl in September.

Fans of the growing Americana scene in Norfolk will have a chance to see her live in a rare local performance.

The evening will also feature rising Americana star Lucy Grubb and her Norfolk-based band.

Lucy has three well-received EPs to her name, including 2021's Waste My Time, and is currently working on her debut album, expected to be released next year.

The band recently performed at North Norfolk's Deepdale Festival and has appeared at other notable folk and Americana festivals like Black Deer and Moseley Folk Festival.

Lucy also performed at the Holt Festival this summer as one of the street performers around the town.

The night will start with a performance by Holt's own singer and guitarist Lewis Gibbs.

Between sets, DJ Postmaster Flash, from Holt Vinyl Vault record shop, will keep the music going.

The shop is also the promoter for the gig.

Tickets are available for £12.50 from Holt Vinyl Vault, 1 Cromer Road, Holt NR25 6AA.

The event promises a unique blend of Americana music with a touch of "girl power," featuring both London-based and local talent.

For fans of this music genre, the evening is expected to be a memorable one, offering a chance to enjoy live performances from both rising stars and established acts in the Americana scene.
