A council is to host more café drop-in events to let people and businesses find out more about coastal erosion issues.

North Norfolk District Council has announced that it will be hosting more Coastwise Cafes between November 19 and 26.

The drop-in events give residents and businesses the opportunity to meet with the Coastwise  team to discuss how to prepare for coastal erosion and have an impact on future plans to tackle the issue.

The drop-ins will take place in cafes at Overstrand, Trimingham, Happisburgh and West Runton.

"These face-to-face community drop-in events have taken place in various coastal communities around the district, with over 315 attendees.

"Feedback from the cafés has generated ideas around different ways to communicate, identify community concerns, and place-based actions towards preparing for coastal change, as well as a focus for future project activities.

"Coastwise is hosting more Coastwise Café events in November to provide progress updates. Each café will focus on housing and have unique location-based topics."
