Refused plans to build five houses in a Norfolk village have been appealed.
The application, which was met with a host of objections from locals, proposed demolishing a cluster of farm buildings and replacing them with five new houses on the land to the east of Cross Street, Salthouse.

The application was refused by North Norfolk District Council due to the development being positioned within an unsustainable location.
Reasons for the objections included fears over the new houses encroaching on neighbours' privacy, the homes not being affordable and the land being a "natural highway" for local wildlife.
The applicant has now appealed the planning refusal.
