A new live music venue is launching at a Norfolk farm and it will "bring entertainment to the countryside".

Eves Hill Farm in Booton, near Reepham, is run by third-generation farmer Jeremy Buxton and his wife Kathryn.

Since April, they have hosted markets in collaboration with Luke and Jade Horncastle.

The next one is on Saturday, October 19 from 10am to 3pm and it will take place in the barn.

The space will then be transformed into a new pop-up music venue from 6.30pm until 11pm that evening.

It is another joint project with Mr and Mrs Horncastle, who are also behind the Folk in a Field music festival in West Acre.

The line-up is Chad Mason, The Foreign Locals, Rich Young and the Conspirators and Brian Stone and the Masters of None.

Christmas markets will then take place on Sunday, November 24 and Sunday, December 1 from 10am to 4pm, with a Santa's Grotto at the latter.

Mr Buxton said: "The events that we are doing are all about creating a community at the farm and bringing entertainment to the countryside."

Music night tickets cost £10 in advance at eveshill.uk/events or £12 on the door - you can also book camping separately.

There is free entry and parking at the markets - Santa's Grotto slots will cost £5 and go on sale soon.
