Halloween is just around the corner, so make the most of it and visit one of these pumpkin patches in Norfolk.
1. The Pumpkin House
Where: Brookhill Farm, Fakenham Road, Thursford, NR21 0BD
When: October 12/13, 19/20, 24-31: 10am-4pm
Price: Free entry and parking, spooky maize maze: £5pp (children aged 3 and under: free), pumpkins individually priced
This unique pumpkin-picking experience features a purpose-built wooden house filled with jack-o'-lanterns, with weird and wonderful varieties in the field.
New for 2024, there is also a six-acre spooky maize maze.
On October 12 and 13, the Brew and Friends Autumn Makers' Market will take place and on all the dates there will be face painting, traditional games and refreshments.

2. Pensthorpe
Where: Pensthorpe Road, Fakenham, NR21 0LN
When: October 25-November 3, 10am-5pm (patch open until 4pm)
Price: Adults: £15.95, children (3-16): £16.95, under 3s: free, free parking
This Norfolk nature reserve will host its first Pumpkin Festival over the October half-term holiday.
Tickets for children aged three to 16 include a pumpkin to pick and carve, with thousands to choose from.
There will also be spooky arts and crafts, a Halloween trail and much more.
3. Little Barn Norfolk
Where: Church Lane, East Winch, PE32 1NH
When: October 12/13, 19/20, 26-31, 10am-4pm (last entry at 3pm), free parking
Price: £2 entry, (includes access to maize maize and redeemable against the price of a pumpkin), under 2s: free, book at littlebarnnorfolk.co.uk or pay on the day
The Little Barn is opening its first pick-your-own pumpkin patch this autumn.
There will be a varied selection of colours and sizes and you can also explore the maize maze, with a spooky-themed stamp trail.
4. Church Farm
Where: Church Farm, Ringstead Road, Heacham, PE31 7JA
When: October 11-13, 18-31, 10am-4pm
Price: Free entry and parking, pumpkins individually priced
This dog-friendly pumpkin patch is back for its second year with thousands to choose from and plenty of photo opportunities.
Wheelbarrows are provided and there will be tasty food and drink to purchase.
Church Farm is collaborating with Seed Sisterhood for a pumpkin painting event on October 12 at 11am, which costs £20 for two people - see the full details on Instagram @church_farm_pumpkins

5. Rookery Meadows
Where: Rookery Farm, Great Ellingham, NR17 1LB

This farm near Attleborough is hosting a Pumpkin Festival this Halloween.
Alongside pumpkin picking, there will also be craft stalls, face painting, food and drink vendors, a Halloween trail and much more.
6. The Pulham Patch
Where: Bungalow Farm, Wood Lane, Pulham Market, IP21 4XU
When: October 5/6, 12/13, 19/20, October 26-November 3, 10am-4pm

The perfect autumnal outing with a variety of pumpkins available in all shapes and sizes.
Tickets include access to the patch and play area and you can purchase sweet and savoury treats from Katherine's Kitchen.

7. Hirsty's Family Fun Park
Where: Yarmouth Road, Hemsby, NR29 4NL
When: October 19-20, October 26-November 3, 10am-4pm
Price: Adults: £9.50, children (3-16): £12.95, children (1-2): £7, free pumpkin for all paying children, under 1s: free, free parking
Head to Hirsty's Family Fun Park this Halloween and pick a pumpkin from the patch.
Then head to the craft area where you can carve a scary design.
There will also be face painting, a play area, a maize maze with a quiz and the cafe will serve refreshments.
8. Ha Ha Farm
Where: Hemblington Road, Strumpshaw, NR13 4AH
When: October 12-31, 10am-4pm
Price: Free entry and parking, woodland trail: £5, pumpkins and other activities individually priced
There will be 20 pumpkin varieties available at this patch, with free carving every day.
Visitors can also expect a woodland trail, spooky storytelling, face painting, cookie decorating and street food.
