A historic RNLI lifeboat is due to be moved from its north Norfolk home in a coastal museum this week.
A large-scale operation to move the HF Bailey lifeboat from its home at the Henry Blogg Museum at the Rocket House site in Cromer to a specialist storage facility is due to take place on Friday.
The 13m lifeboat will be moved from the Henry Blogg Museum due to £1m repair work taking place in the building to fix its chronic damp issues.
The lifeboat is a piece of RNLI history, famous for being used by Henry Blogg in 387 lifesaving rescues between 1894 and 1947.

The delicate move will involve road closures, specialist equipment and police escorts.
Heritage development manager Jacqui Palmer said: “The operation is delicate and complex, and has taken months of planning.
“We’ve been dependent on so many different factors - including the weather, tides and availability of partners and contractors - that it’s been a nail-biting experience to the very end getting a time and day confirmed for this week.
“It’s going to be an extraordinary and pain-staking event that involves the hard work of many people.
"We’re incredibly grateful to the commitment and patience of those who are helping us do our very best to preserve this important part of Cromer’s history in saving lives at sea.”
