Two cars have crashed at a roundabout and damaged a lamp-post in North Walsham.

Police were called just before 1pm today to a collision involving two vehicles at the junction of Kings Arms Street and Grammar School Road.

An ambulance was called to the scene after one of the drivers sustained injuries during the crash which saw a vehicle hit a lamp-post.

The road was partially blocked at the time of the incident and the extent of the injuries is currently unknown.

The AA reports that the road is clear.
