People, community groups and businesses in Stalham are being invited to help shape the future of their high street.
North Norfolk District Council will be holding a workshop on Tuesday, September 24, from 5pm at the Stalham Poppy Centre.
The aim of the workshop is to develop an action plan, based on the contributions of the community, to help economic growth in the high street and wider town.
The workshop will be led by an expert from the High Streets Task Force, which is a £9m government programme designed to revitalise high streets.
Stalham is one of 150 towns identified by the programme.
Cllr John Toye, portfolio holder for economic growth, said: "I am delighted that we can bring this workshop to Stalham.
"This is a real opportunity for the community to be actively involved in helping shape the future of your Stalham Town with independent expert guidance.
"Stalham is a town with a rich history, and this is part of the journey into its future story for our next generations.”
Stewart Damonsing, business development officer, said: “We are pleased to be hosting the High Streets Task Force in Stalham and we would encourage anyone involved with Stalham to attend this workshop.
"I am looking forward to seeing local businesses and residents coming together to contribute towards creating an exciting action plan for the town.”
