Motorists will see delays on some of the county's busiest roads as a 60ft boat is moved from the Norfolk Broads.

Police will escort the 44-tonne load as it travels on the A47 and A14 after leaving Oyster Yachts in Horning.

On its way to Fox's Marina in Ipswich, the unit will be escorted by Norfolk Constabulary on local roads before joining the A1151, A149, B1152, A1064, A47, A140, A14, and the A137 before joining local roads to the site

The 16-foot-wide convoy made up of the vehicle transporting the boat and one self-escort vehicle, will hit the roads at 9am on Tuesday.

Drivers travelling on any of the roads at this time have been told to expect delays and allow extra time for journeys.
