Thousands of people craned their necks on Cromer seafront to catch a glimpse of a world famous bomber.
The Lancaster could be seen over the town's pier as part of the Cromer Carnival festivities on Wednesday.
The morning's fun began with displays from the Bolddog FMX team, equestrian and dog shows for the official opening of carnival day.

By the afternoon “everyone was waiting for the Lancaster” said organiser Tony Shipp.
At 2.45pm against the clouds, the historic plane emerged flying out from the sea and then proceeded to give audiences unprecedented views with a sequence of low flypasts.
The Lancaster bomber was a substitute for the usual Red Arrow display.
When asked if the arrows would be returning next year Mr Shipp said: “We never know, we have to make an application for them by September.

“They decide the programme for the season.
“The RAF say they love coming to Cromer because they can get closer crowds flying over the sea”
“They have been coming to the carnival since 1980 and only ever missed us a few times.”
After the arena had cleared, the day continued with the parade.
Led by the carnival queen and a pipe band, there were 43 floats in the parade, which later also welcomed the Sheringham carnival queen.
Mr Shipp said: "It's the best we have had since covid and probably a bit before.
"Everyone is getting back into the carnival spirit."
