This week marked the beginning of one of the highlights of a North Norfolk resort's annual calendar.
Week one of the Cromer Carnival began with children's week that saw a host of free activities taking place along the seafront.
On Monday, the promenade was decorated with vibrant chalk drawings, giving children the chance to be a graffiti artist without getting into trouble.
Creativity was also flowing at the paint a stone competition on Tuesday, with competitors seeking to find stones from the beach and then adorn them with bright colours and patterns.
