More than 1,000 runners took part in a marathon along the Norfolk coast over the weekend.
The first Norfolk Marathon, organised by EPIC Norfolk, took place on Sunday (April 28), attracting runners from clubs across the country.
The 26-mile route started and finished in Cromer, taking runners along the north Norfolk coast and down towards North Walsham, before looping back and finishing overlooking Cromer Pier.
The route passed through the coastal villages of Northrepps, Trimingham, Gimingham and Mundesley, before heading back to Cromer through Trunch, Bradfield and Southrepps.
The winner of the first EPIC Norfolk Marathon was John Hudson, from Norwich Road Runners, crossing the finish line in 2:42:52.
The first female to cross the line was Alison Carter, from Tri-Anglia Triathlon Club, with a time of 3:17:04.

EPIC Norfolk has organised other races in the past, such as Blickling Half Marathons and EPIC 5K Races.
