Cromer Lawn Tennis & Squash Club hosted a Squash Bell Tournament in memory of club member, Ian Sutton.
The inaugural Squash Bell Tournament saw the participation of 13 competitors, each playing two-minute matches against all the other players.
Designed with swift transitions between matches signalled by the ringing of a bell, the competition was very fast-moving.
A homemade dinner was had following the competition.
A raffle and the tournament's entry fees raised a total of £400, which will be donated to Mr Sutton’s favourite charities, Battersea Dogs’ Home and Priscilla Bacon.
A regular face at the club, Mr Sutton's friends honoured his memory by sponsoring a new bell and a commemorative plaque.
Cromer Lawn Tennis & Squash Club is open to the public for pay-to-play patrons to enjoy their diverse facilities including tennis, squash, table tennis and pickleball courts.
The venue also provides function room hire and a fully licenced bar.
