A new dentist has opened in a Norfolk town today - and has already received more than 3,000 appointment requests.
The Dental Design Studio opened in North Walsham today (February 21), taking over from Bupa Dental Care in Market Place.
The new dental practice, which has taken on patients from the former Bupa practice, hopes to offer places for new NHS patients.
However, it will currently only be accepting new NHS child patients, saying it will need to review its patient database first before offering places to adults.

Dr Jeff Sherer, clinical director at The Dental Design Studio, said the practice has received more than 3,000 emails requesting appointments.
"We are still reviewing all the data," he said.
"There appears to be a large number of NHS patients already on the database, so for the time being we will be accepting new NHS child patients who can be seen by our dental therapists and private patients.
"We will review the situation over the next few weeks and if we are able to accept more new adult NHS patients we will do so."
