An investigation has begun after a light aircraft crashed in north Norfolk.
Two people were taken to hospital after the aircraft crashed near Breedon, in Holt, yesterday morning (January 16).
Emergency services attended the crash site on land between Hunworth Road and the B1110.
The aircraft crashed at around 10.20am on Tuesday.
Two men on board the aircraft were taken to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital for treatment.
It is understood one person was walking wounded while the other sustained a head injury.
The Air Accidents Investigation Branch (AAIB) has now launched an investigation into the crash.
A spokesperson for the AAIB said: “An accident involving a light aircraft which occurred yesterday morning near Breedon Holt in Norfolk was reported to the AAIB.
"An investigation has begun.”
Two ambulances and an ambulance officer attended the scene along with four fire crews from Cromer, Holt, Sheringham and Fakenham.
