Barclays is bringing a new banking service to Wroxham after closing its Hoveton branch.
The bank closed its branch in Station Road, Hoveton, on December 1 as part of 214 announced closures – a third of its entire UK network.
It means Barclays will no longer operate branches in north Norfolk following the announcement earlier this year that the bank would also be closing its Sheringham branch on February 21 next year.

The Hoveton branch has now been replaced by a Barclays Local – a cashless banking service available in Wroxham three days a week.
Barclays Local will provide face-to-face banking support for customers at Wroxham and Hoveton Reformed Church, in Norwich Road, every Monday, Tuesday and Friday from 9.30am to 1pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm.
Customers visiting the Barclays Local will be able to access in-person support, such as help with digital banking, financial reviews, balance checks, transfers and bill payments.
However, as the Barclays Local is cashless, everyday banking transactions will need to be completed at the local Post Office.
Duncan Baker, North Norfolk MP, said: “I am delighted that Barclays have managed to find a good, nearby location to support residents throughout Hoveton and Wroxham with their banking needs.
"This will maintain a strong physical presence for 60pc of the week and is far better than many communities, so I am particularly grateful to Barclays for achieving this.”

Jerome Mayhew, Broadland MP, said: “I was delighted to join Barclays for the official opening of their new Barclays Local in Wroxham.
"The new site, based at the United Reformed Church, will enable the bank to continue operating an in-person service three days a week so that residents can access advice and support from their local bank.”
Lianne Coupland, Barclays' deputy customer care director said: “We’re pleased to open a Barclays Local here in Wroxham working with the United Reformed Church to offer a new, more flexible way for our colleagues to continue to support customers with their banking needs.”
