The streets of Cromer were filled with festive cheer as the town hosted its annual Christmas lights switch-on.
Hundreds of people gathered in the High Street and Tucker Street on Saturday to listen to school choirs, sing along to carols and be entertained by members of the Cromer Pier Christmas Show, including a stirring turn by saxophonist Chloe Edwards-Wood.
Earlier in the day there was a Santa’s Grotto and children’s activities in the town’s community centre, and the parish hall was bustling with visitors browsing what was on offer at rows of charity and trade stalls.

READ MORE:When darkness fell there was a torchlit parade from North Lodge Park to the churchyard, where the young winners of a Christmas poster competition were announced.
The winners helped switch on the many thousands of light bulbs that deck the town’s streets, along with town mayor Emma Spagnola and Father Christmas.
Many people also wandered into the church, where a Christmas tree and nativity festival was running.
