The hunt is on for Santa’s elves in Sheringham, as part of a new competition being run to help everyone get into the Christmas spirit.
Experience Sheringham - part of Sheringham Chamber of Trade - is running a free competition “for children of all ages”, with prizes from local businesses worth a total of more than £400.
Participants have to find 15 or more of the 44 missing elves around the town centre, and fill in an entry form which can be collected from The Chocolate Box at 41 Station Road, the Red Lobster Gallery at 25 Station Road or Starlings Toys at 31-33 High Street.
Completed forms can be put in Santa’s Post Box located outside the gallery.
Paul Richmond, Experience Sheringham’s chairman, said: “Sheringham is a vibrant seaside town with a high percentage of independent shops and businesses, making it an ideal location to do some Christmas shopping, showcase our beautiful town and find 44 naughty missing elves.
“We’ve had an amazing response from the local businesses offering a wide range of fantastic prizes.”
The competition runs until Christmas Eve.
