Storm Babet will cover the UK in "impactful" rain this week, the Met Office has warned.

Norfolk has been included in a yellow alert for rain lasting from 6am on Thursday until 6am on Saturday.

People have been told to expect flooding, power cuts and travel disruption during the storm, which is the second of the season after Agnes, as gale-force winds may make driving dangerous.

Grahame Madge, a Met Office spokesman, said: "From tomorrow morning (Thursday), Storm Babet will bring increasing impacts to the UK, beginning in the south and west and then moving east.

"Coastal residents and visitors are being advised to take extra caution."

Here is an hour-by-hour forecast of what people in Norfolk can expect from Storm Babet.
