Two seaside restaurants in Norfolk have been named among the 10 best in the country.
Upstairs at No.1 in Cromer and Eric's Fish and Chips in Thornham have reached the next stage of the National Fish and Chip Awards 2024 Restaurant of the Year category and must now battle to reach the final five.
The restaurants earned their spots for their commitment to environmental standards, sustainability, outstanding customer service and knowledge of the fish and chip industry.
The finalists will face further scrutiny including mystery visits by renowned industry figures.
The ultimate winner will be unveiled on February 28 at a ceremony in London.

Andrew Crook, awards organiser and president of the National Federation of Fish Friers, applauded the shortlisted businesses' dedication and efforts to provide strong dining standards despite industry challenges.
Upstairs at No.1 was recently awarded a Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Award which ranks it in the top 10pc of restaurants worldwide.
A-list visitors to Eric's Fish and Chips and sister restaurant Eric's Pizza in Thornham include William and Kate, the Prince and Princess of Wales, and actors Tom Hardy and James Norton.
