Antiques collectors and animal lovers will unite for a unique upcoming event on the north Norfolk coast.
Hillside Animal Sanctuary in West Runton is to host its first-ever ‘antiques and collectibles autumn sale’ to raise money to care for rescued animals.
Vintage furniture, ceramics, postcards, stamps, military, sport and music memorabilia, art, glassware, jewellery, books and toys will be among the items going up for sale, and families will also have a chance to explore the sanctuary and meet the animals.
Wendy Valentine, Hillside’s founder, said: “We're excited to welcome the community to Hillside for a day that promises to be great fun. All funds raised from the sale will support us in our efforts to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide lifelong care to animals in need.”
The site’s bric-a-brac shop, gift shop, vegan café, children’s play area, picnic areas and museum exhibits will also be open.
The sale will take place on Sunday, October 8 from 10am-4pm, visit hillside.org.uk for more.
