New images offer a first look at the next episode of a six-part series exploring Norfolk. 

Norfolk and Suffolk: Country and Coast, narrated by Bill Nighy, will feature locals living and working across both Norfolk and Suffolk. 

The next episode will air at 8pm on Wednesday (September 20) on Channel Five.

Viewers will join Duncan Borrett, a surfing instructor on Cromer beach, as he leads a group of beginners into the waves. 

Further down the coast, the lighthouse at Happisburgh beach also features on the programme.

The 26-metre-tall landmark was once threatened with closure but is now run by a community trust and is the only one of its kind in the country.

Later in the episode, paleontologist Dr David Waterhouse unearths ancient fossils at West Runton beach

West Runton is well-known as the site where one of the most complete skeletons of a mammoth ever discovered was unearthed.

Further inland, Victoria Herbet of Go Ape takes viewers along a 10-metre high rope walk deep in Thetford Forest. 

Sudbury Canoe Club, Kentwell Hall, and Pin Mill in Suffolk will also appear in the episode.
