One of the most popular dog shows on the north Norfolk coast has been cancelled due to the weather.
The Mundesely Fun Dog Show, which was due to take place in Gold Park on Sunday, September 10, has been called off.
The Gold Park Trust, which organises the annual show, said: “We have made the sad but important decision to cancel Sunday’s Fun Dog Show on Gold Park due to the expected high temperatures this weekend.
“The dogs’ welfare is paramount and advice from the vets and RSPCA say it should not go ahead.
“Many apologies to everyone.”
The trust said they hoped to reschedule to May 26 next year.
The Met expects the temperature to be around 26 degrees in Mundesley on Saturday, and 28 degrees on Sunday.
