One of the best-known voices in cricket will appear at a north Norfolk pub to share stories of his life and love of the game.
Henry Blofeld, 83, will be at the Cricketers on The Green in Aldborough on September 11, October 2 and November 6.
Kent Laws, who runs the pub along with Julie Heakin, said: “I've a lifelong love of cricket and like many, have listened to Test Match Special for years - to voices like Brian Johnston, Jonathan Agnew and, of course, Henry Blofeld.
“Henry's unique style has always brought the game to life and always made me smile and laugh.
“It's an absolute honour for Julie and I to have Henry at our pub for three nights this autumn.”
Mr Laws and Ms Heakin were introduced to Mr Blofeld and his wife Valeria through a friend, Gordon Hall, chairman of Coltishall-based Bijou Wines.
The events will start at 7.30pm. Tickets are £30 and will be allocated through a ballot system, visit cricketersonthegreen.co.uk/henry-blofeld to find out more.
