The owner of a much-loved north Norfolk tea room is searching for new tenants to continue its story.

The current tenants of Folly Tearoom, at Hoppers Yard in Holt, announced earlier this month that “the time had come” to “end their chapter” at the tea room, after running the business for the last three years.

North Norfolk News:

Now, Judith West, who has owned Folly Tearoom and Hoppers Yard in Holt since 2010, is looking for new tenants to take over the market town’s treasured tea room.

“I’d like the story to go on with the right people,” she said.

“When I first bought it, it felt beautiful and magical like someone had loved it – it was a special place.

“I hope the next chapter of Folly magic can open soon.”

The Folly Tearoom will be open under its current tenants until September 23.

The tenants, who took over in 2020, said: “We are truly grateful for every one of you that has welcomed us into your lives and more importantly your hearts over the past few years.

“Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the biggest and smallest moments of your lives - from bridal parties, birthdays and baby showers, to coffee catch ups with friends and family.

“It has meant the world to us to be able to bring a little Folly magic to each and every moment with you.
