A Norfolk restaurant has been given an esteemed accolade as it celebrates its tenth birthday.
No.1's Upstairs Restaurant in Cromer has received its first AA Rosette for culinary excellence.
The takeaway and restaurant is run by Galton Blackiston, owner of Michelin-star awarded Morston Hall, and Spencer Gray. This recognition also celebrates the talents of head chef Matty Adcock.
Mr Adcock's innovative approach to seafood dishes has captivated the taste buds of diners, making No.1 a sought-after destination, using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.
Co-owners Tracy Blackiston and Rachel Gray, and Spencer Gray, said: "We are extremely proud and humbled to receive our first AA Rosette.
"This recognition is a testament to the hard work and passion of our entire team. Over the past ten years, we have strived to create a memorable dining experience for our guests, and this accolade affirms our commitment to culinary excellence."
The restaurant was rated among the best fish and chips shops in the UK by BBC Good Food earlier this year, and was named among the UK's top eateries with a place in the Harden's Guide 2023 for Very High Quality Food.
