Sheringham’s newest restaurant is already proving a popular spot for local foodies – serving a carvery customers have called “the best they’ve ever had”, according to the restaurant’s owners.
Reeves, in Station Road, is owned by couple Wayne Reeve and Jemma Taylor. The couple moved to Sheringham last year – opening the restaurant two weeks ago, on May 29.

Reeves has breakfast and lunchtime menus, as well as serving a selection of homemade cakes and bakes throughout the day.
The owners take pride in serving traditional food cooked to order using only fresh ingredients.
The initial popularity of the restaurant has been a welcome surprise for them, with its Sunday carveries going down particularly well with customers.
Owner Mr Reeve said: “Everybody that has commented on the carvery has said it’s the best they’ve ever had.
“Our passion is for everything we serve to be prepped fresh in the kitchen. There’s nothing pre-made at all.
“All the cakes are made here in-house. We’re not buying stuff in like a lot of other cafes and restaurants: we’re doing it the old-fashioned way and trying to bring back those values.”
Reeves serves a traditional full English breakfast alongside creative brunches made by chef Simon Marsh.
Its lunch offering features a range of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and ‘The Norfolk Picnic’ – a choice of picnic favourites like sausage rolls, scotch eggs and quiches.

Ms Taylor added: “We’re both big foodies, which is part of the reason why me and Wayne opened Reeves: because of our love of food.
“I’ve always wanted to move to the coast ever since I used to come on holiday here with my family.
“It was a fresh start for us, and we didn’t realise this would fly as much as it already has.
“We want this restaurant to become part of the community here.”
Reeves is open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 9am to 4.30pm.
The carvery is every Sunday, from 11am to 4pm, which can be booked over the phone or online at www.reevesrestaurant.co.uk
