People and businesses doing an outstanding job in the food and drink industry can be recognised as a ‘hero’ in their field.
The Food and Drink Hero Awards will again be part of the Aylsham Show, which is marking its 75th anniversary this year.
Alexandra Haswell, awards co-ordinator, said the five businesses or individuals with the most nominations would be visited by judges in July and the winners would be announced at the show on Monday, August 28.
Ms Haswell said: “The passion of our food and drink industry in Norfolk is fantastic, and we are now looking for the Aylsham Show Food and Drink Hero for 2023 with the help of the public and their nominations”.
Judges will include the chef Roger Hickman and Joshua Spinks from sponsors, Savills.
Nominations can be made until June 18 at www.theaylshamshow.co.uk/competitions/food-and-drink-hero.
Attractions in the main ring at this year’s show will include the Tigers Parachute Display Team, the Heavy Horse Turnout Display, Pony Club Mounted Games and the Moto-Stunt International Display Team.
