There are plans to build a new 3G artificial grass sports pitch with fencing, hardstanding areas and floodlights in Aylsham.
The pitch would be at Youngs Park off Cawston Road and replace one of the site's existing grass pitches.
The Youngs Community Sports Trust has applied to Broadland District Council for permission.
The application says: "The proposed pitch is located within the central north of existing playing fields associated with Youngs Park Community Sports Trust and home of Aylsham FC, with the clubhouse building and car park located to the south-east of the proposed pitch, central east of the wider site."
