From new restaurants and family-owned bistros to award-winning cafes, popular pubs and quirky street food vendors – the Sheringham food and drink scene is fast becoming one of the best north Norfolk has to offer.
Here's a sample we came across on a recent visit to whet your tastebuds.
The Fishmonger's Tavern
The Fishmonger's Tavern is one of Sheringham's newest restaurants.
The Cromer Road fish restaurant only opened in March this year, but has already proved a hit with seafood lovers.
The restaurant offers lunch, à la carte and Sunday menus - including a steak night on Thursdays, with both fish and beef steaks.

Streat Boss
Streat Boss is an award-winning cafe in Station Road which recently opened as a steak and seafood restaurant.
“Sheringham is a thriving town, and the food scene is the best it has ever been,” Rob Grand, the Sheringham-born owner of Streat Boss, said.
On Saturday nights it serves fresh, locally-sourced steak and seafood - including lobster and crab.

Stubby's Pizza
This seaside pizzeria offers an alternative to traditional fish and chips - a taste of Italy in the form of homemade woodfired pizzas.
"It's simple pizza cooked the right way and enjoyed in a great environment," owner Ben Stubbs said.
Favourites include the classic margherita, pepperoni and 'the sausage party'.
Fat Ted's Streat Food
Family business Fat Teds Streat Food is run by Josh Birmingham and his mum and stepdad Sarah and Cem Oruc.
Starting out a food van in 2017, doing pop-ups in Cromer, the family purchased their shack in Barchams Yard, off the High Street, in 2018.
Inspired by the Turkish flavours of Mr Oruc's birthplace, Mr Birmingham said what makes Fat Ted's street food special is "the uniqueness of our menu" and "old family recipes handed through the generations".
He said: "The best and most popular items on our menu are the dirty fries and flatbreads. We offer vegetarian and vegan options too.
"Our flatbreads are baked locally and we have vibrant salads made daily."

The Bank
This Nepalese and Asian restaurant is steeped in history, with the building once serving as the town's bank.
Features of the bank have been incorporated into the decor of the restaurant, with reminders of the building's past - like the bank's vault - adding to the dining experience.
It offers a traditional taste of Nepal and Asia, including a range of specials.
The Gangway
The Gangway opened in October 2021 and is quickly becoming one of Sheringham's most popular watering holes.
From coffee to cocktails, and a selection of craft beers and ales, there's something for everyone at the Station Approach pub.
"We're different to anywhere else in town," The Gangway's manager, Dan French, said.
"We've got the best coffee in town, and I can't think of anywhere else that offers the variety we do."
Marmalade's Bistro
Marmalade's is a family-owned bistro which champions local produce throughout its evening menu.
Favourites include the slow-cooked lamb rump in a red wine jus, as well as ever-changing flavours - such as a variety of soup combinations and flavours, and an exciting range of desserts.
Pia Fish and Chips
Pia Fish and Chips is one of the newest chippys to open in Sheringham.
It is the latest challenge for Alex Gokmen, who has been working in chip shops since 1991.
Opening in September last year, it offers traditional fish and chips, as well as gourmet burgers.

Reeves
Reeves is the latest addition to the town - officially opening in Station Road on May 29.
Owned by couple Wayne Reeve and Jemma Taylor, the restaurant serves traditional home-cooked food across breakfast, lunch and an ever-changing specials menu.
It also offers a carvery on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The Norfolk Pie Man
There are plenty of fish and chip shops in Sheringham, but only one pie and mash stop.
Norfolk's Pie Man offers a range of classic favourites for pie lovers, as well as loaded jacket potatoes, warming homemade soups and a range of specials.
