If the whole of Norfolk was a theatre, it would have one of the best seats in the house.
This hotel sits on the verge of the Blakeney salt marshes, looking out across an expanse of wildlife-filled natural beauty towards the north Norfolk coast.
Now what used to be the Blakeney Manor Hotel has reopened following a major renovation - and it has a new name.

The 17th Century building in Back Lane is now known as the Manor Coastal Hotel and Inn.
Rosemary Thew, who lives in the village, cut a ribbon and went on to pull the first pint at a reopening ceremony for the manor.
Kevin Charity, chief executive of the Lincolnshire-based Coaching Inn Group, which recently bought the hotel, said: “We’ve become a very people-focused business over the past four years, just constantly refining our ‘hospitality from the heart’ culture.

“We’re focused on looking at what we can do better and how we as a management team can serve our people – that's been the key.”
The renovation has included adding extra bedrooms, bringing the total up to 36, as well as a modernisation of all indoor and outdoor public spaces.
Mr Charity said 20 new jobs had been created.

He said: “We also have our chefs’ academy, which again encourages all those in the kitchen teams to advance through seeking further qualifications and organises visits to market gardens, farms and our other quality food sources.”
