Vandals have cost council taxpayers in North Norfolk around £30,000 in the past 11 months.
Damage has mostly been focused on public toilets in Sheringham, Holt and Cromer.
Councillor Tim Adams, North Norfolk District Council leader, said everyone was affected when the authority had to fund repairs.
Mr Adams said: “It’s really unfortunate that this is happening and I’m hopeful that it will soon stop.
“I know police have been working on this.
“It costs us all - it will cost households where these people are from because repairs will come from council taxes.”
In one attack of vandalism in December at Lushers Passage in Sheringham - just off the town's High Street - toilet seats, hand dryers, hand soap and toilet roll dispensers were smashed around.
It was reported at the time this incident alone cost NNDC almost £10,000 to repair.
Other targets of vandalism in recent months have included the public toilets in Albert Street, Holt, a playground in Neil Avenue, Holt and heritage railway posters and a former collectors' cabin in Cromer.
