Vintage train enthusiasts will be in seventh heaven at an upcoming winter gala on the Whitwell and Reepham Railway.
The railway, near Reepham, is hosting the gala over the February 25-26 weekend to mark 14 years since its reopening, and the first anniversary of running the steam locomotive Agecroft No.3.
Visitors will be able to ride a recently restored SECR brake van, see demonstration goods trains and a visiting Wickham Trolley from the Mid Suffolk Light Railway.
There will also be model railway layouts and traders in the Sidings Function Room.
Rob Ewles, preservation society trustee, said: “We have a jam-packed weekend for both railway enthusiasts and families.
“We will be the only heritage railway centre in Norfolk, if not the country, running such an event this weekend.”
Locomotives will run from 9am to 4.40pm on both days. Food and drink will also be available, and there will be extra parking on offer at the nearby Reepham High School, with a shuttle bus running to the station.
