A documentary about the Cromer Pier Show set amid a backdrop of the divisive Brexit debates of 2019 has won a film festival award.
And Seaside Special, by German filmmaker Jens Meurer, is to have another screening at the pier's Pavilion Theatre itself, on Sunday, December 18.
Mr Meurer said recent screenings in Norwich and Cambridge had been well received, and the film won an audience best documentary award at the Cambridge Film Festival in October.
He described the film as a "strange little German documentary that is touching audiences in Britain, and especially in East Anglia."
Mr Meurer added about the end-of-pier show: "West End shows might be bigger or more famous, but for sheer feel-good value I can't think there's anything better or more unique."
The Berlin-based filmmaker said the documentary would be released in Germany on January 19.
The Cromer screening will be at 8pm and Mr Meurer, pier show host Olly Day and other locals who feature in the film will be there. Visit www.cromerpier.co.uk to book.
