Organising the club coaches has been a huge task for Charles Sanders, managing director of Sanders Coaches.

Yesterday he said he had managed to organise coach seats for more than 7,000 fans, with 147 buses and coaches lined up, but said he had a few more in case of another rush as the remaining tickets went on sale last night.

Mr Sanders, who has drafted in drivers and vehicles from all over the country, said: 'I was getting a bit panicky at the beginning of the week but fortunately it has all come together now. As you can imagine to try to find as many coaches as this in eight days hasn't been easy. We already had customers who had hired coaches for the bank holiday and we have had to honour our existing bookings too.'

With 6,000 fans leaving in coaches from County Hall, and the remainder from the Norfolk Showground, he said it was imperative that fans are prepared to quickly fill every seat in each bus so they can all leave swiftly.

Fans also need to make a careful note of the number of their coach and where it is parked at Wembley, as they must return on the same bus.

If a threatened rail workers' strike goes ahead, it would seriously affect the ability of fans to travel to Wembley on Monday.

Abellio Greater Anglia said it was putting on special trains for Norwich fans, but warned of the threat of industrial action. Engineering work, in any case, will mean Greater Anglia trains to and from London on Sunday and Monday will terminate and start at Stratford station in east London, not Liverpool Street.

An Abellio Greater Anglia spokesman said: 'As soon as we have more information on what level of service it may be possible to operate should the proposed industrial action go ahead, we will provide travel advice via our website, social media channels and at stations to update passengers. In the event of strike action taking place there is likely to be severe disruption to train services.'

For fans planning to travel to the stadium by car, Wembley recommends they only use the official car parks at www.wembleyofficialparking.com.

Norwich-based Liftshare.com is also helping fans offer, request or accept lifts to Wembley.
