The air ambulance was called out to help a man who suffered a suspected heart attack while out walking his dog.
Anglia One, the air ambulance serving Norfolk and Suffolk, was called to help an 84-year-old man who had a suspected heart attack while out walking his dog on Monday in Cromer.
The man was taken back to his home by a paramedic on scene and the air ambulance was asked to help assess the man's condition given the distance from the scene of a land road ambulance.
The aircraft landed close to the Esplanade in the town, and East of England Ambulance Trust Critical Care paramedics Ben Caine and Neil Flowers, monitored the patient's heart and assessed his condition before flying him to the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in a journey which took 12 minutes.
On arrival he was taken straight to the cardiac unit. His condition was described as serious but stable.
