Photographers from the North Norfolk Photographic Society have shown they are a cut above the rest by winning a regional competition against 36 other clubs.
The victory in the Cambridge Interclub Digital Competition is the third time the society's members have come out winners in recent months. Chris Fell, the president of the Cambridge club, presented the winner's trophy to the society's chairman, Malcolm English.
A spokesman said: 'The standard was as ever very high but North Norfolk PS came first with 95 out of 100 points.
'Bishop's Stortford were 2nd with 94 points and there was a tie for third place between Wayland, Saffron Walden and Ipswich - all with 92 points.'
In November, the society won a competition against nine camera clubs in the Fens, and the following month they won another contest against two local clubs. The competition was judged by David Gibbins.
